It was an auto wreck, I believe. 
She was delivering papers in a snowy day & lost control if her car. 
Not sure about that, I think that is right.

She was in a car accident.

She was doing a paper route in a VW with a sunroof she threw the papers through and she flipped the car. 
I facebooked with her several times over the past few years. 
She was in bed a lot of the time. Her husband passed away last year. 
So sad to loose another classmate.
