Stay well, -Bill Lamkins (7/20/11) OBITUARY Clarice Lavern Louton, age 69, of Hot Springs, died Monday, July 18, 2011. She was born on January 4, 1942, in Malvern to the late Alonzo and Mamie Brent Greeno. Reared in Malvern, she was a homemaker and the wife of Robert Louton Sr. They were married on October 29, 1965, in Long Beach, California. Mrs. Louton was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Hot Springs. She loved growing flowers. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Robert Louton Jr. and his wife Deandra of Malvern and Bruce Louton of Hot Springs; two daughters, Angela Thurman and her husband Jim of Malvern and Kimberly Standard of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Mitchell and Fred Greeno, and by four sisters, Bobbie West, Frankie Wiel, Arlene Bonner and Jackie Greenley. Graveside service will be held Thursday afternoon, July 21, 2011, at two-thirty, in the Lone Hill Cemetery near Oak Grove. Pallbearers will be Dillon Louton, Jonathan Petty, Larkin Petty, Jesse Lewallen, Randall Lewallen and Steven Thurman. Honorary pallbearer is Earl Thurman. Memorials are requested to Arkansas Hospice. She walked in the same direction home as I took from school and I talked to her a few times but she didn't have too much to say.
