He lived in my part of the state and I didn't know it. https://www.beardsfuneralchapel.com/harold-farmer-miller-october-24-1940january-29-2022/ Does anyone recall whether he was called Harold or Farmer? I've attached his photo from our 1960 yearbook. -Bill Lamkins (2/2/22) Martha Chadwick Lindvall I only knew him by Farmer Nell Rose Walters Snyder Another who spent some time with our class. I never had any contact with him but his name has been brought up in past years. Geraldine Nix Reynolds I remember him. He was a nice guy. Martha McClellan Koury Wasn't he called Farmer? Clark Dougherty Yes. Study hall with him when I was a nerd 10th grader. Nice fellow, quiet, who treated me as a peer. Cherry Silliman I remember him as Farmer also. John Lipe I remember him being called Farmer. Bill Lamkins Thanks for the input; I was remembering him as Farmer too but wanted to be sure. Dorothy Branum Sealy Talked with his sister yesterday. No funeral services. He was called Farmer. May he Rest In Peace. Joe Norcross I remember calling him (or his being called)Farmer. Sorry to hear of his passing. Thanks for your diligent pursuit of info on our ever shrinking Class of 1960, Bill. Doyle Hughes (Murphy) I remember Farmer Miller. Gary Gray I always called him Farmer. Martha Scrimshire Wade We called him Farmer and thought he was very handsome and maybe that he was very tough. He wore a leather jacket and had the tough guy hair style, the duck tail! Gasp! Judy Johnson Parker Farmer Pauline Ward Nusbaum That is what we called him (2/2/22) Conrad Lawson For sure he was in our class, because he was in a couple of classes with me. But that doesn't mean he graduated with our class! And I always knew him as "Farmer," and don't remember anybody calling him "Harold." Nice guy. I liked him. Gail West I agree with you Conrad, Farmer was a nice, polite individual. I just checked the Class of '60 roster and Farmer is on both the '60 and '59. But, if you compare both side by side, there are others on both. It never occurred to me this would be the case. (2/3/22) MHS1960 Facebook & MHS1960 E-List Farmer Miller's memorial webpage is posted at our class website: http://Lamkins.tripod.com/Farmer_Miller.html He is the 81st member of our class we have lost.
