She married Don Lackey on Nov 4, 1960.

Congratulations, Frances and Don.  Frances, you are the salt of the earth.  
Folks, this lady took in a dog that once belonged to me and cared for him until his death.  
He had been badly hurt in a car accident and had come up missing from our home.  
I couldn't imagine what had happened to him and then, one day as I was driving 
down Highway #9 out of Malvern, I saw him lying in a sunny field beside a house.  
Frances had been caring for him.  
She allowed him to lie in the sun where he was happy and cared for him until he died there.  
Frances, later in my life it dawned on me that I had not even offered to pay for his food.  
I'm so ashamed of that.  Where was my mind?
It was the first thing I should have thought of.  
Please forgive me.  I certainly send my very best wishes to you and Don for many more years of happiness together.  
Don, I'm sure you knew you had a winner from the very beginning."

Yes, Frances was our classmate.  She and Don celebrated their 50th anniversary in Nov 2010.

So sad, but we just lost yet another classmate.
Just got information that Frances Collins Lackey passed away.  
Not sure yet but think it was this morning - or last night.
She was living in Hot Springs with or near a daughter.
When I see the obituary, I will forward to you.

Frances is our oldest classmate to have died so far - at age 80 years, 24 days.
