Rocky is with his Savior - was God's will for him. Now we have to find His will for our life without him. It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. Rocky and I contemplated heaven together in many of our conversations. Rocky Robinson carried a fathers likeness for me the last 50 years of my life. This was his last massage to me 2 days before he fell ill: JoAnn said you made it home safe. So glad you did... Thanks so much for diving so far to visit us old folks. We sure enjoy the time together. Keep walking with the King and we can make a dinner appointment at His place. I know He serves great food. April 1, 2022 NGU Women's Soccer (North Greenville University) NGUWS mourns the loss of Rocky Robinson, lovingly called "Pops" by current and former players and families. Pops and his beautiful wife, Nana, made a point to attend every game they could to support NGUWS, traveling all over the Carolinas. Pops was a huge supporter and counselor to the team and helped his son, Coach Andy, turn NGUWS into the program it is today. Pops was always so funny and full of life, and he knew EVERYONE. He knew how to make people feel welcome and loved. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, alumni, and current players. To know him was to love him. We take comfort in knowing that we will see Pops again. Valerie Jarrard Dyke So well said. To know him was to love him!!! And YOU too, Nana 😘. Love you and praying for you Anita Snyder So sorry!
